This always the theory I would start whenever people I met starts to ask about using LEDs for lighting. Most would find it boring or, do not see the relevance. Despite all this, I would still do my best to educate them on this very simple basic. If I were to start a class, I would just charge RM100 for this simple thing.
This very video by markusfuller is quite good and once you understand what he is saying, that is almost half the battle won.
