OK, I am so excited today, wishing the Day’s Work would end immediately. The 3D printed switch cover has arrived. This was one of the main delays which literally stalled the Project. Without it, I could not finalise the assembly manual. The problem started when I exported the SketchUp file into .stl format which had so many invisible errors, it could not be printed, even with the help of JLC3DP. In the end, I reached out to a Friend who pointed me to another who was willing to help me. He reconstructed the 3D model with the measurement and even offered to print it out, in white-ish resin for me!
I had to wait a bit because he was also busy with other Cons in Singapore and here since this is almost the end of the year.
In the meantime…
With that 3D printed switch cover done, I can now revise the assembly manual. It’s going to take some time as I think it needs more than just a third of the page space. Not only that, the v-notch cutter tool is now on its way as well. You’ll know what I mean when it arrives…
