20251016 Gundam Spare Parts

I suppose buying model kit spare parts are not uncommon nowadays. Long ago, it was more of a parts swap during swap meets and that was that. But with the growing Warhammer Community, such activity was normal and you can find the parts you need from eBays and Websites. Gundam on the other hand, was something new to me. Initially, it started with selling of fully built kits from various sources and now, its fully built kits but with separated parts for sale. However, for me, I dound them from my local B2C Shopee Platform. And yeah, like the usual things where hot stuff are concerned, one needs to be fast. Fast as in, Ckick to Buy now and worry about the consequences later.

Alas, these were only for ‘common’ scale models. But for 1/35 Military, Tanks, Planes and even Western SciFi (eg Space 1999, Battlestar Galactica) you would have more luck by writing to the manufacturers instead.

I am not sure where the Gun comes from but the three main assembly which combines into a backpack rocket launcher, would be from a Guncannon. The parts which I needed.

As for the backpack Rocket Launchers, I loved them to bits. I was looking for actual Gundam Weapons Packs for a decent pair of rocket launchers and none came close.
Painting might be a challenge but I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Afterthoughts

The parts which were separated from their runners were quite clean. I could not see any pockmarks or visible scarring which is great. All these for just RM20.00 and if there was a RX-93 v2 Head for around that price, I’d go crazy for that as well. The only thing on my mind?

Are these parts legit or not?
