With the new dimensions for the SMD LED’s cut-out, I re-created the shape again from InkScape before importing it into EaglePCB. The only problem is that no matter what I did, there is a ‘leak’. Understandably, JLCPCB confirmed this when I uploaded the design. So, most of the day was spent on trying to figure out the cause. Eventually, it was not the outline of the PCB but rather, the activity surrounding that 1.3mm donut hole. It was not the position of the SMD solder pads but rather, the traces or copper tracks. Despite the various trials and combination of the tracks, eventually I gave up, sealed the donut and placed a single solder point there…
