Coming in at USD89.99, this 6½ inch figure of Rogue Trooper is now on pre-order. This is Hiya’s Exquisite Super Series which deals with 1/12 scale figures. For the 2000AD series, the Rogue Trooper would be the second figure after the comic version of Judge Dredd. I did not get the latter despite the generous accessories included such as both versions of the Lawgivers. This was because of the ‘fabric clothing’, which in the images, looked more like rubberised material and in Malaysia’s humid weather, it is very destructive.
So far, Creation at Works or Toy Garden are the Official Distributors for Hiya Figures in Malaysia. Anyway, from the prototype images below, the figure looks promising. However, I just do not like his boot knife which should be ‘closer’ to the calf. Everything else, such as Gunnar, Helm and Bagman are quite accurate and yes, the pants are fabric.
