This is the latest gimmick for certain HG Gundam models, where you are now able to magnetically attach what looks like 3D printed oil/ vapour exhaust system. Long before that was the infamous conversion flight backpack by Project V Hobby which was 3D printed and was so cool. But now, I am sure, the quality has been diluted and evolved slightly.
I actually like this idea a lot because, it shows how innovative these Guys are (unless they copied it from somewhere else which, I would have to retract my words). It does show they are excited to put it out and in the shortest time possible. This means, the product has to be 3D printed and not using the usual plastic injection, which might come later, depending on the market.
I for one, would whole-heartedly get it despite the questions it raised, such as how big are the Lithium-ion batteries, and how long can it last? And although I have a Zaku somewhere in storage, it is not for that. More like breaking it and learning the technology.I mean, its a tiny Vape machine…heh.
