Brooke Marlowe's PKD MK1887 Shotgun - Piscean Works

We first get a good look at the Brooke’s Shotgun in Black Lotus’s Episode 06 towards the end. Honestly, I did not pay much attention earlier in the Series since I could hardly make out his weapon. But it all changed in this episode because now, we can see that his shotgun is quite amazing. And then, I suddenly though of my NERT Rival Takedown.

As good as it gets

Everyone loves to make a Prop weapon. And if you’re too rushed or do not have the resources, any NERF Blaster can be the start. And so, here comes the NERF Rival Takedown. In the end, you get a shotgun, with the details filled by your own imagination. But hey, it is still a shotgun.

This is the NERF Rival Takedown which took me years to get because I was not happy with the retail price of RM149.00, so I waited until it went down to RM99.00 before going up again. I liked this design because after I saw how Zoe holstered it in Firefly. Practically, I think, in any NERF Competition, this might be a good choice since the other hand does not need to bend inwards so much and the action to pump is natural to the body movement.

On the other hand, if you disagree, there is also the option to modify it as a lever-action, be it as a 3D print or must via metal works. But without the grip, the forward under barrel might still be slipper or, brushes with the other hand.

Alternatively, you can get this mod kit from a Chinese Platform for about USD40 or so. I think this was on the Market about 5 years ago.

Enter Boris

Mr. Boris has very kindly uploaded the 3D file of the said weapon in MakerWorld and he has already admitted that his files were not very accurate since he relied mostly on the dark and blurry screenshots. So, in his own words, “if the assambly help i created is not matching your expectations or standards im not sorry“. In other words, go pound sand. Ha ha ha. I like his style already.
