By now, anyone who’s a Patlabor Fan knows that a Live action movie will become a reality in 2015 and that’s next year. When Patlabor came out in the late 80’s, everyone went nuts over them. Believable working mechas in ‘today’s’ era.
For me, I did not understand the craze except for the cool sequence where the Labor retrieves its service revolver from its leg, reminiscence of Robocop. And that’s it.
