01042014 Ah-Dei the Shy Ceasar

OK, its more or less that’s how the story goes.
The ThreeA DeiMos II Ceasar toy is now called Ah-Dei (or maybe, Dei-Dei) or something else, I don’t know. It is a very shy robot and also, very smart. Through decades of war, its AI realised that if it hides all the time, it won’t get shot or get blown up. So, while its hiding, it can use its sniper rifle to hit on other unsuspecting robots. But it is afraid all the time, of being discovered…

Anyway, I just programmed the chip last night. And this is the first time I actually connected a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) to the chip. I programmed the small RED Heartbeat LED to beat like a human heart but at 2 seconds. When there is light at the LDR, the RED Heartbeat LED will beat faster. Also, I purposely dim the bigger orange 5mm LED when its calm, but light up even more when it is alert. Right now, I still do not know where to house the batteries but its very strong indication that it will be placed outside. Also, I will need to get the correct component values as the resistors to the LDR is wrong and that is why it was not so sensitive to light changes in the video.
