General Purpose PCB

General Purpose PCB

What you see in the picture below is a shot of a prototype board using microcontroller chips for several projects. The boards were designed very quickly to solve a few projects and are nothing more than just interface boards. I made four in total.

One was for my C-160 TRANSALL and the F-117A Stealth Fighter which I am rushing to complete before the SFTPMS Group Build in November 3. The other was for a friend and this one, the very last one, was at the request of rayloke of ICW. The programming was done to simulate the flickering of arc welders. Took me about two days to come up with the ‘random’ sequence. Before I know it, after it was programmed and sold, another member bought it off him in less than a week…

They are designed to run off 3x AAA batteries. So, the programming I can do for these boards which has 5 ports are:

  1. 5 LEDs to simulate 5 Arc Welding machines
  2. Police Siren lights
  3. Motor control (Fixed speed)
  4. Custom LED sequences, etc.

So, Boys and Girls, shall I make some General Purpose Boards and pre-program them?
