No 11, Jln Radin Bagus 7, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, 57000 Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur Operation Hours: Mon-Fri, 1130 to 2030
There is one Hobby Shop which I have been trying to go for a very long time. It is quite near to my Work place and, technically, bang right on the route home. However, like all plans of mine, they always fail. In this case, it was the traffic. It is always full of cars from about 1000 to Night. Therefore, if I need to be there, I will have to park quite some distance away.
You won’t miss this because of the big sign. The only issue is to look for a place to park your car. This part of Sri Petaling is famous for Food which draws the crowd non-stop. There is a huge parking are behind the building but its narrow lane also attracts traffic congestion. I parked about 100m away on a main street and walked over…
When I first entered the place, I was quite impressed with amount of Bandai Products displayed there. Unfortunately, I was not able to pick any Kits due to my fickleness which manifested it self.
After I have made my purchase, I was informed that there is a Workshop area on the Second Floor. Once I entered, it was apparent that Toys Player is an ardent supporter of Hooby Mio.
With so much products to choose from, I had to make sure whatever I am going to do for that afternoon are just not bordering on being impulsive. Straight away, I have a feeling that Toys Player supports Hobby Mio. Don’t ask me why, but it is a very strong hunch.
The range of Mr. Surfacer Primers is impresive.
Yes, I got hooked into these 3D printed greeblies
The booths in the background are for rent. Having a booth or working area outside the home is a great idea and saves space. However, because my Works Table allows me to Airbrush, make models, do Electronics and other distracting multi-tasking stuff
What I got
To be honest, my mission to Toys Player Hobby is just to explore the place and have a look at their tools and wares. So, it was quite a surprise that they are carrying Hobby Mio products. After using their HM-102 Single-blade cutter, or rather, my very first experience with cutters of such, I was in a sense, more confident with the brand. While browsing, I came across these Hobby Mio 3D printed details and their Circular cutter.
These 3D Printed resin parts have crisp details and it is very difficult for me to find any cosmetic blemishes.
There is another set I wanted but I am not sure why I picked this one instead. Still, just looking at the details, you’d feel this is a very high quality product.
And yes, I got another non-DSPIAE circular cutter! You can read more about it here.
