Some tips on Decals.
We all will need decals sometime along this model railroad journey. But, unlike other bigger scale hobbies, we dont need large format or decals in big quantities.
So it makes it expensive and uneconomical to get a laser printer and A4 decal papers. Bubble jets printers are possible but quality of prints on decals is appalling. Getting decals to be printed at the printers can be cumbersome and expensive at times.
There is this photo printer frm Canon that prints on special photopaper. The print quality is superior to laser printers and the color is spot on.
You can treat it like normal decals, same technique.
The only set back is that it needs to be soaked in water much much longer. At times more than an hour. I normally leave them soaked overnight. So, if you have time, this is a solution you can consider.
Good Luck.
