In conjunction with SFTPMS’s AGM and SMM2014, Hobby HQ was having a 45% Sale from 08.03.2014 to 09.03.2014. And so, I got a few items from there. This is one of them, a German Entwicklungsfahrzeug E 10. This model, has two sets of tracks, the Vinyl version which allows you to choose from an early track or a late track. And the plastic track which you need to glue piece by piece. Not forgetting, there is also a small PE fret as well. But the reason I chose this was that of the tank’s unique shape which to me, is ideal for a project. I can use a S-Tank but this one is much cruder and so, looks the part for what I am going to do with it.
Models like these do cost a bit but with the generous discount, it made it easier for me. Sometimes, there is a question of why I use the money I got from the lighting sets on these.. these.. things instead of well, using them on developing more lighting sets. Well, the truth is, I did not. I only started to make some money on my second product and to be honest, one of the reason why my products are always ‘late’, is not only due to workload but how I can siphon off from my Salary. Projects for friends do help but they’re limited and not easy to come by. I know I do not need to tell you all this since this is my own thing but there are many occasions people do corner me into this and then butcher or vilify me for my replies which they think they know better.
But in the end, you know what? Its my own thing and only I can decide the direction I am going. Yes, that model with lights looks good and so does this one, etc. But no, I am not doing it just because you think its cool or that you’re helping me with all these ‘advises’ and get offended when I don’t do them. Until you step into my shoes, you know jack-shit about the problems I face, the decisions I make and dealing with countless of setbacks from broken promises after broken promises.
So, what’s next after I have finished selling the Viper Lighting kit? Another lighting product or shutting down Piscean Works? Only I can decide and no one else.
