I have revised the decals and also, expanded the design so that it more or less fills the A4 paper. I have added the larger screen decal for the main body and also, the bezels. This bezel is to help block the LCD screen’s wiring or edges from becoming visible. I am not sure if this is working though since there was a lot going on in my head.

The Management had informed me that my last day of working here would be on the 14th of August.

THE DESIGN

The A4 layout has enough decals to turn the TR-595E into the ArkysLab version or my own style. I will print the decals on two media; which I hope they will arrive in time. I am going to test the decals on both sticker versions of PP Transparent and Synthetic PVC matte. There are some on the market with silver or gold coating beneath which I do not want. They might interfere with my switch designs.

The PP Transparent media is to help in carving out the two or six small rectangular holes. But it depends on how you want to modify the lower interface. I am going to use the Synthetic PVC for panels and fascia printing.

I have also, re-designed the black segments which doubles as cutting templates and also, as light-blocks with details. I want to laser print this on a Mylar sheet but I have still not seen one before. I was thinking of an alternative, a diffused thick (0.25mm?) clear plastic with glue backing that can accept Laser printers. I know it is out there but I just do not know its name.

So, yeah, the A4 page is now filled with lots of decal options.

And surprisingly, the printer behaved itself today, with no cropping. The printout was perfect compared to that horror weeks ago:
