I’ve actually forgot to post these two important piece of news for 2026!
New Venue
For as long as I can remember, the Event & Malcom was always held in the very first week of June except for the past two years. The timing, to me, was crucial since it coincides with the Malaysian School Holidays which can potentially contribute to more foot traffic and eventually generate more interest into the Hobby. For me, it was important because for once, I would be able to show to my Kids a glimpse into my World or Hobby. But alas, that was not to be due to scheduling conflicts and those very dates.
Therefore, in order to secure those dates, they would either have to have a really good talk with St’ Giles or, ultimately, find a better location.
A new venue will be announced soon.
Mecha & ma.K in Malcom
Every since I visited the Event, Sci-Fi was there but never in a Competition. And so, 2026’s Malcom is going to start off with Mecha & ma.K! And hopefully, eventually, more Sci-Fi Categories in the near Future.
