When it comes to charging LiPo batteries, as long as the circuit/ load is not being used, the battery would charge faster. I did not notice this for I assumed the Modules would do their job just like any Mobile Phone devices. The MCP73831 is one of the chips which allows for load sharing. This means you can charge the LiPo while the circuit/ load is ON.
