While trawling through my JLCPCB account, I came across this notification dated April 1st. They are now able to to multilayer silkscreen which in other words, you can now put images on your PCB. I have seen some earlier designs from microcontrollers (Arduino?) but they used them sparingly to only mark the I/O pins.
Designing PCB is akin to making art. Most of the times, patterns or images were created using tracks on the board. There were some rare ones too but coming from JLCPCB, this is going to be a new ballgame!
They have a guide using the EasyEDA to import the graphics. This is something new to me as I am still using the outdated EaglePCB v7.77 software so this means, I would need to tinker about to see if I can produce any decent results. For the time being, I would still be importing the simple 2-bit images as my Logo onto the PCB.
